Taste of the Sea

Our Taste of the Sea night went down a storm on Saturday the 22nd of June.

38 Diners were astounded by the gastronomical delights they were presented with. Chef Dave, alongside his amazing team- Amber and Norbert, worked really hard to present the room with a delicious selection of seafood dishes.

People were really impressed with the standard of the food that arrived at their tables, and couldn’t believe what great value the whole evening was.

As a special treat, and great addition to the evening, The U3A Shanty groups entertained us with a sensation session of sea shanties.  The group performed with great character, making us all believe we were all on board ship sailing the seven seas – it really was very entertaining.

All in all, the night was a tremendous success.  Thanks once again to all our amazing volunteers who make these evenings run so smoothly and with such professionalism.  Thank you to the U3A Shanty singers, and to all the staff who made the evening so fantastic.

If you attended the evening, we’d love to hear your review!  You can find us on Trip Advisor and your review will help us establish The Alice Cross Centre on the foodie map of the South West.

Date for your diary!

Put the date in your diary for our next pop up restaurant night – 28th of September. Our Chef Dave will be cooking up some Autumn Delights for your tastebuds. It will be on the website soon and ready to book on to – watch this space!
