At the Alice Cross we have a variety of rooms and hall available for hire. We are a licensed premises with bar facilities which makes us ideal for functions!
We now have folding tables, this allows to the space to be more versatile for the needs of the community! We hope you like it!
Booking a room.
We offer a few different ways to book a room at the centre for either a regular session or a one off booking.
You can book online at HallMaster.com or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your requirements and we can check availability, we then require you to complete the booking form below or we are introducing a booking calendar which will be added to this page soon. This will allow you to see the availability in all our rooms and book yourself in to what you need. we will then confirm the booking with you and invoice accordingly. more info to follow!

The hall is approached across a small four space car park, There are an additional 2 council owned disabled spaces for the sole use of the Centre at the rear of the building. A small lobby gives access to toilets and other rooms.
The hall measures approximately 23 ft by 41 ft. The standard equipment comprises of 50 upholstered dining chairs and tables. A considerable amount of extra furniture is available within the building. The other equipment consists of a music centre, a piano, a Screen for presentations and other equipment may be available please ask when booking.
In the far corner of the hall we have a small but stocked bar area and or Tea and Coffee making facilities, if you require the use of the bar for alcohol sales for your booking we can arrange this, If you prefer certain beverages over others just let us know and we can stock accordingly.
Adjacent to the hall is a large, well equipped kitchen which offers full scale catering equipment available by special arrangement.
The hall is in use every weekday morning up to about 2pm, it is also booked for use at other times so please bear this in mind when enquiring about booking.
Hire of the Hall is £15 per hour, with Saturday night £75, and the use of the kitchen has an extra charge of £16.50.
Available as a Treatment & Therapy Room . with a Chiropody Chair & a sink. £6 per hour.
ROOM 2 MEETING ROOM on the GROUND FLOOR
This can be used as an activity or surgery room available daytime & evenings. The ground floor room is of irregular shape measuring approximately 270 sq feet. There is a small kitchen adjacent with basic coffee/tea making equipment, plus toilets close by. The standard furnishings consist of two 6ft tables and about 20 chairs, other furniture is available by special arrangement. Also in this room is video playing equipment but with no TV reception.
Hire cost: £9 per hour,
Business Rate of hire £10 per Hour
Two double commercial style gas cookers and ovens, dishwashing facilities, two microwave ovens, a Salamander Grill and double deep fryer together with a full range of crockery and cutlery, wine glasses and tumblers are available. Please check what equipment is available when booking.
PARTIES and FUNCTIONS
If catering is required for private parties or functions please discuss this with the centre manager Jackie O’Brien on 01626 778039 any weekday morning.
Parking is limited at the centre. We have a small forecourt which can accommodate 4 cars and can be used for unloading. Blue badge holders can park on the street. There is a pay and display carpark a short walk away at Teign Street, which accepts cash, cards and RINGO.
