Fundraising is vital in helping the Alice Cross Centre continue offering its day to day activities and to grow in the future. We hold a variety of events each year and welcome donations and offers of volunteers to help us.
Fundraising events can be fun too – last year at an event on the Den we raised £1500!
Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, there are now many ways in which you can support the Alice Cross and our fundraising endeavours.
The Alice Cross Lottery via The Weather Lottery:
For as little as a pound a week you can play the weather lottery and support the Alice Cross and another local partner charity in the process. Between now and Christmas al proceeds from this lottery will go towards our “Little bag of Christmas Joy” project which aims to provide parcels to local older and vulnerable people in Teignmouth who may be isolated and alone this Christmas.

The Coop community fund:
We provide for the health and wellbeing of older people in Teignmouth & District, where before closure due to COVID-19, we offered many activities to improve their wellbeing and reduce social isolation. We will reopen the Centre as soon as we can, but some residents will observe restrictions long into the future so we will use technology to enable them to join our activities virtually.
Our project will enable those who are unable to come to the Alice Cross Centre to take part in activities with their friends through interactive digital technology.
