Ain’t Misbehavin’, Mother’s Ruin and Celtic Dawn.
We are excited to welcome 3 amazing local bands for a fundraising evening of live music on Saturday the 22nd of March 2025 from 7pm. We have a licenced bar stocked full of Beer, Cider, Wine, spirits and a range of soft and hot drinks.

The Bands:
Ain’t Misbehavin’ are friends that share a love of Swing and Gypsy Jazz. They have played at numerous local events and their happy music is well liked by all. “Great music. Brilliant at Bishopsteignton Fair. Would highly recommend”. Sarah E.

Celtic Dawn are a very popular upbeat lively band. They have played at many local venues and uplifted audiences playing their renditions of traditional Irish and other music. For those foot tapping Irish songs and rhythms, come and listen to the bodhran, the fiddle, guitars and vocals!

Mother’s Ruin are a popular local band who play upbeat foot- tapping folk rock. Their music ranges through traditional folk, folk rock, Americana and Cajun! “Feel good band – great live” – Julia H.

The Alice Cross Centre is located at 1-3 Bitton Park Road, TQ14 9BT. We are next to the hairdressers (Big neon sign – you cant miss them!). There is a small parking forecourt which is reserved for the evening for the bands. Parking is FREE after 6pm at Teign Street Car Park (Behind the Blue Anchor Pub). There is an underpass you can walk through to get to the library and we are just round the corner – about a 2 minute walk from the carpark!
