Helping to ensure the future and development of The Alice Cross Centre
Over the years the Alice Cross Centre has been very fortunate in the monies that have been donated, collections made and legacies left. They have made a massive difference to every aspect of our work and are either invested or used to fund a project at the Centre. A major legacy was used to help purchase the ’3 storey cottage’ which has enabled us to have a wider range of activities based at the Centre.
Fundraising, gifts and legacies are important to maintain the day to day running of the Centre. There is always something needing replacement or upgrading, as well as wages for our paid part-time staff. We can receive Gift Aid which enables us to maximise the value of donations we receive.
A bequest or legacy to The Alice Cross Centre means that you know your gift will make a difference to ‘people in Teignmouth and Shaldon’ in their later life and help to ensure that the centre grows to meet their needs. You can be assured that your money will be used purely for this purpose.
If you would like to help The Alice Cross Centre continue its work please consider leaving a sum of money to;-
‘The Alice Cross Centre’
(Our registered company name ) Company Number:2338079
Although making or changing your will is simple it is important that you consult a solicitor or professional advisor. The wording in your will is very important. They will also need to know our Charity number, which is 800996.
If you are thinking of leaving a legacy to support the work at the Alice, please accept our heartfelt thanks.
If a bequest or legacy is not for you . . . but you know that you would like a ‘funeral’ collection in your memory to be made to the Alice Cross Centre, please do tell your relatives of your wishes.
Free Will service from Tozers Solicitors
The idea of forward planning for our death is far from our minds when we are healthy and leading full lives. Most of us don’t think about death until there is a threat, either to ourselves or to those we love.
Nobody knows when they will die but it will happen either expectedly or suddenly. So often people die without giving any guidance as to their wishes, so that those left behind are left wondering what the deceased would have liked.
Making a will is an important step forward. It gives mourners an opportunity to carry out your wishes at a time when they are grieving, when making decisions can be difficult.
Tozers solicitors in Teignmouth are offering a free will service in return for a donation to The Alice Cross Centre. To take this offer up you will need to call them to book an appointment.
