The Alice Cross Cup was originally established in 1995 by Teignmouth Town Council as a way of recognising outstanding service within our community. Last year, the Alice Cross Centre proudly reinstated the award, once again using it to celebrate a volunteer who truly goes above and beyond.
We are absolutely delighted to present the Alice Cross Cup to Sheila Malynn at our Christmas Show.
Sheila’s dedication extends far beyond her incredible support for the Alice Cross. Her commitment to the wider Teignmouth community is nothing short of awe-inspiring. With her ever-present smile and infectious can-do attitude, Sheila has a remarkable ability to light up any room she enters.
It would be hard to find a corner of Teignmouth that Sheila hasn’t touched in some way through her kindness, energy, and generosity of spirit. We are incredibly fortunate to call her one of our own, and there could be no more deserving recipient of the Alice Cross Cup!
Honouring Past Recipients
Over the years, the Alice Cross Cup has recognised a number of exceptional individuals whose generosity, compassion, and commitment have helped shape our community. Each recipient reflects the spirit of service that Alice Cross herself championed.
We are proud to celebrate these past winners and their lasting contributions. The gallery below captures just some of the inspiring people who have received the Alice Cross Cup and the moments that made their recognition so special.
