Alice does Eurovision

Alice does Eurovision

The centre came alive and was BUZZING on Saturday the 11th of May, as we gathered for a fun night of Eurovision madness!

The centre was packed, full of people of all ages, all joining in with the fun and games and support our favourite acts at Eurovision.  People came dressed in fancy dress, depicting their favourite countries.  Our Eurovision photo booth was enjoed by all – with some amazing photos coming out of the evening.  People were encouraged to share on their socials, using the hastags #Eurovision24 and #AliceCross.

Hosted by Peta and Laina, there was Eurovision Bingo – we were all encouraged to watch each act carefully and play along with our bingo cards. Items such as “Giant Eggs”, “Firework shorts”, and “washer women” were witnessed in this years bonkers show, alongside, Eurovision standards such as “wind machines” , “changing languages mid song” and “Key change”.  No expense was spared with the really bad prizes – with people delighted to take home a bag of pegs or a mills and boon novel!

There was also a chance to win a cash prize by taking part in the sweepstake, with the 2 winners taking home £10 each – thank you to the winner who donated their prize back to the Alice!

Finally we had an amazing raffle – 3 fantastic hampers packed full of European and British produce.

The attendees were treated to the Best Nachos EVER! Freshly prepared by Dave and Amber in the Kitchen.

The Night raised a whopping £675 for The Alice Cross Centre!

Thanks to Gaye for taking the pictures on the evening – we hope you enjoy this little summary of the evening!
