A Celebration of Community, Christmas and Dragons.

Community Spirit Meets Christmas… and Dragons Roam the Triangle

Saturday 6th December saw Teignmouth’s community come together in the Triangle to celebrate Christmas, Community, and a touch of dragon magic, with a very special appearance from the award-winning Alice The Dragon. The area was alive with festive cheer as friends, families, and neighbours gathered to enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere filled with seasonal spirit. Live entertainment from Ben Brown and our very own Peta Howell provided the perfect soundtrack to the celebrations, bringing smiles, singalongs, and a real sense of togetherness. With Christmas joy in the air and dragons adding a playful twist, the event was a wonderful reminder of what makes Teignmouth such a special community.

A Christmas Celebration Like No Other as Teignmouth Triangle Lit Up by Lanterns with Alice The Dragon

Throughout the day, hands both big and small were kept busy creating beautiful lanterns with the wonderfully talented community artist Sam Lock. As daylight faded, these handmade lanterns were ready to light the way through the Teignmouth Triangle, with Alice the Dragon proudly leading the parade at the helm. Mince pies and steaming cups of mulled wine were passed around as festive music filled the air, drawing voices together in cheerful singalongs, laughter, and the glow of lantern light.

A huge thank you to all involved, Teignmouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce, The Makery, TAAG, Teignmouth Bakehouse, Teeny Tiny Teignmouth Company, Teignmouth Market, Ben Brown, and Peta Howell for such a wonderful community event – and to everyone who came out to be a part of something so special, thank you!
