We are absolutely thrilled to share that The Alice Cross Centre has been shortlisted for a Stars of Teignbridge Award!

These awards celebrate the organisations and volunteers who make a difference in our communities, and we are delighted to be recognised alongside so many inspiring local people and groups.
Being shortlisted is a wonderful recognition of the care, energy and commitment that our volunteers, staff and supporters bring to The Alice Cross every day. From sharing a meal and offering a friendly welcome to helping people stay active, connected and supported, every contribution helps make our centre special.
We are also super proud of our volunteer Grace Brown, who has been nominated for her work with The Teignbridge Friendship Group. The group provides a welcoming space for adults with additional needs to enjoy activities, build friendships and spend time together. We are delighted to see Grace’s contribution recognised—congratulations, Grace!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who nominated us, and to all those who give their time, enthusiasm and support to our centre. This is something for our whole Alice Cross community to celebrate.
We can’t wait for the awards evening on Friday 23 October, when we’ll join others from across Teignbridge to celebrate the wonderful work happening locally.
