The Alice Cross Centre was transformed into a glittering spectacle of European flair as 45 enthusiastic Eurovision fans gathered for our annual Eurovision Song Contest party. The event proved to be both a musical triumph and a fundraising success, generating an impressive £694.31 for the centre.

An Evening of Eurovision Magic
Guests arrived in spectacular fashion, many embracing the spirit of the occasion with elaborate fancy dress costumes that captured the flamboyant essence of Eurovision. From sequined jumpsuits to national costumes representing countries across Europe, the creativity and enthusiasm on display set the tone for a memorable evening.

Fun and Games
The night featured a lively game of Eurovision bingo, with participants eagerly marking off their cards as performances hit predicted notes, costumes changed, or presenters made their trademark announcements. Winners were awarded deliberately “terrible” prizes, adding to the humorous atmosphere of the event.
A sweepstake added to the excitement, with each attendee drawing a competing country. The lucky ticket holder who selected Austria celebrated their win as the Eurovision champion was crowned, taking home a special prize along with bragging rights.

Capturing Memories
One of the highlights of the evening was the photo booth, where guests posed with props and backdrops, creating lasting souvenirs of the night. These photos captured the joy and camaraderie that filled the room throughout the celebration.

Community Spirit
The raffle drew eager participation, with a hamper generously donated by local businesses and supporter of the Alice Cross Centre, Happy Bean Health Shop . This popular element of the evening contributed significantly to the impressive fundraising total.

Recognition and Thanks
The success of the event would not have been possible without the dedication of numerous individuals. The Alice Cross Centre extends heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who helped organize and run the evening. Special recognition goes to Laina for her instrumental role in coordinating the event, and to Honour and Elle for their outstanding contributions that made the night truly special.

Supporting Our Community
“The Eurovision party has become one of our most anticipated annual events,” said Centre Manager, Peta. “Not only does it bring together people for an evening of fun and entertainment, but it also raises vital funds that allow us to continue providing services to our community.”
The £694.31 raised will directly support the Centre’s ongoing programs and activities, helping us to continue our mission of serving the local community.
