A Musical Celebration

The Shaldon Singers delivered a moving performance of Haydn’s renowned oratorio, showcasing the choir’s dedication and talent. The concert attracted a sizeable audience who were treated to an evening of beautiful classical music while supporting a worthy local cause.

Community Support

The Alice Cross Centre’s Ambassador, Viv Wilson, attended the concert as our representative, strengthening the ties between our organisations. Her presence highlighted the importance of community partnerships and the vital role that local arts groups play in supporting essential services.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the Shaldon Singers for choosing to support us with their spring concert,” said Viv Wilson. “Their generosity will make a real difference to the services we can provide to our community.”

Making a Difference

The funds raised will help the Alice Cross Centre continue its mission of providing support, activities, and services to the people of Teignmouth. This kind of support is invaluable to us as we work to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for those we serve.

Looking Forward

We extend our sincere thanks to the choir members, soloists Josie Walledge Jonathon Lucas Wood, and Tim Murfin, and musical director Tim Crompton, and everyone who contributed to making the concert such a success. The Alice Cross Centre looks forward to future collaborations with the Shaldon Singers and other community groups who share our commitment to making a positive impact.
